Lisa received her Master’s in Counseling at Montclair State University. She has worked in various positions in the field utilizing her counseling skills and innate problem solving abilities as a Guidance Counselor, a Crisis Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, and an In-home counselor for the last 15 years where she has molded and guided at-risk youth in crisis. Lisa holds certifications in Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy (Ct.H), National Board-Certified Counselor (NCC), Mind/Body Personal Trainer, Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, and CANS certified SNA (NA/BPS).

Lisa specializes in working with children and adolescents and has as extensive knowledge in how to keep families united during times of crisis. Lisa has unique abilities and experiences that will benefit your family and can help the youth in your households remain stable. Lisa specializes in movement therapy with youth and adults. Lisa is also experienced in working with trained therapy dogs and introducing them to various populations all over Ocean County.

Lisa can work with people by utilizing hypnotherapy for cessation of smoking or weight loss reduction, which some insurances do cover. Lisa is a Reiki Master, Seichem Master, and Chios Master. These sessions are available at a self-pay rate.
